CollegeReally interesting and relevant class highly recommend! He's also an engaging and entertaining professor. You need to read the textbook to know the material well for the weekly quizzes because it's usually a time crunch. He even had quite a few guest lectures from other amazing professors!
Very friendly and approachable. Make sure to schedule office hours in advance because he is really busy. I loved his class and he seemed so interested in the subject matter that it made me want to go out and learn more.
One of the best professors i've ever had!! He makes class really interesting, and goes on a lot of interesting and funny tangents! GO TO CLASS. Sure, you can get most of the information from the book, but it makes much more sense if you have him explain it. The tests are pretty easy for an UD Chem class! AMAZING PROF - HIS MOTHER WOULD BE PROUD ;))
Plaxco is an amazing professor. He's hilarious, which makes lectures very entertaining. You'll find that he goes on a lot of tangents, but he plans class time for them so you don't miss out on any material because of them and they are also almost always completely relevant to the subject. His tests are easy as long as you go to class.
Professor Plaxco is one of the remaining true gentleman professors in the chemistry department at UCSB. I definitely recommend taking him for whatever class he teaches that interests you, for he brings with it a part of himself and his lectures are some of the best here at UCSB.
Plaxco is the best! Fun and interesting class! Here's to the hotness points and margaritas!
