Super tricky class where three (50 minutes long) tests make up your grade. If you are not a good test taker, this will be tough. I honestly felt very lost in her lectures. The class presents many concepts but provides little time to completely understand them. Chapters are long and detailed, I would definitely recommend reading before lectures.

She is great lecturer & if you go to class, then understanding content, homework, & studying for tests isn't hard. She gives helpful study guides & lays out exactly how to succeed. There's 3 tests (non-cumulative) and offers an optional retake for 1 of the first 2. Homework graded on completion & she's flexible w/ office hours bc she wants to help.

I have no words other than horrible. Shes the worst professor ive had here at UCSB. Doesn't have any moral code or compass. 3 tests determine entire grade and doesn't drop the lowest score.
