His quizzes are tough, but he gives extra credit. Joe provided me with research assistant opportunities and wrote me an amazing rec letter for law school. If you ask him for help, he will help. He has so much experience in this field and is very passionate about helping students and pushing them to learn more. By far my favorite professor I've had.

Beware of him and his strict grading criteria. He will make you want to pull every strand of hair you have and make you pray almost every night before going to bed. If I could describe my experience it would be that one scene from Mean Girls where Regina is writing on her burn book. Be cautions of him, his assignments, and his form of grading.

Joe was great! I was a little intimidated by his course at first, but it turned out to be a really fair course. The quizzes are tough, but if you read closely and take good notes, you should do well. Extra credit is really generous, and he lets you retake exams for a new grade (except the final). Pretty funny at times, too. JOE IS THE GOAT!!

Joe is the most incredible professor I have ever had! He was so supportive and you can tell he is so passionate about what he teaches. Exams are tricky and require a lot of reading and studying, but it isn't hard to get an A if you put in the work. He's also generous with extra credit. I would definitely recommend taking his classes if you can!

Joe is a very sweet man, but his lectures can get boring. His class overall is pretty easy with 3 quizzes (15pts each), simple 5pt assignments, and some extra credit. Just have to read a few articles each week and follow the lecture outlines that he gives out. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to have him again, but also wouldn't be mad if I did.

Joe is an awesome professor. He is extremely helpful and cares about his students. Nonetheless this class is definitely challenging, if you pay attention in class, ask questions and attend office hours you will do fine.
