WRIT107G . Coklin L 30 Days Ago

The professor cares about the students improving. I felt like it was a good class, if you genuinely want to improve on your skills. Work for your grade and spend time on the assignments as they do take a while to complete. Overall good class. No stress when it comes to exams/finals!!

Great professor, but HARD grading. You definitely need to put in work in this class. There are so many papers and reports. My final report was 32 pages. It is not as bad as it sounds. Kind of. She is helpful with meetings and answering questions, but I think asking her questions makes me more confused. Dont take this for an easy elective.

Professor was a fine. She gives awful, I mean AWFUL criticism of your work. As for WRIT107G, if you have an intense course load, DO NOT take this class. It has nothing to do with global careers. Assignments are hours and hours of writing papers papers (due the Sundays before midterms). Not difficult, but a ginormous slop-bucket of menial busywork.

Professor Coklin is so sweet and she is really fun to talk to. Her lectures and slides are a little unorganized but her Canvas module is super in depth. She is a tough grader for sure and really cares about being punctual.

Ljiljana is a great professor and makes the material accessible to non-writing majors. Weekly readings, responses, and three papers. I found that she graded quite leniently as long as you put in the effort. I really liked the readings and the course overall. A lot of opportunities to get help and advice on assignments. Would recommend.
