CollegeGraded by 5 quizzes, in-class assignments (open and close for the duration of class, but can be completed anywhere), an in-depth interview, and a paper. The prof is very passionate about immigration, but did not present the material well at all. When she lectured it was confusing and other days she played films or had a guest. Offers extra credit.
The professor was whatever. Not very organized, always messed up due dates, and was not very accessible. There were 2 TAs; unfortunately, the one I had was also not very good. She was never clear but tough at grading. I would never take a class with her again. She's a sweet lady, but not a very good lecturer.
Super unclear about instructions and changed date for final a day before when it said a different day on canvas. also never responded to emails. super nice just wish she was more organized
She gives about 5% of extra credit out so that's a huge plus ik a few people who got over 100% in this class. Big. impacts are buying the textbook, 2 research papers (Quant & Qual), and 2 attempt online quizzes. Lecture isn't too important to attend very skippableThere are in-class assignments but you can just do them at home. Quant paper is hard
she is an awesome proffesors, she just need to give clear directions in my opinion also she is so sweet
I do not recommend taking classes with this professor. She changed the due date to the final the night before it was due. She is also not a good communicator, I made 3 attempts to contact her via email and got no response. Very unprofessional.
