CollegeHe is the best professor I have ever had. His lectures are very engaging and entertaining and I looked forward to going to every class. He has a very good teaching style that promotes student engagement without being forced.
AMAZING PROFESSOR ! He became my favorite human. He's class became my favorite because of the way he lectures. I cannot say this enough he is not just an amazing professor but also an amazing human. He is really caring, gives amazing feedback and wants you to succeed. The way this class is designed makes you want to learn. Also amazing slides!
Took Soc125P with Dr. Bridges--best lecturer I've ever had, super knowledgable and engaging and highly encourages students to come to office hours. Weekly quizzes on readings/lecture content, 2 papers, and a midterm and final in-person. Need to work hard but it's easy to keep up with the content if you're going to lecture.
Class is 125P fairly straightforward, Midterm, Final (Cumulative), Weekly quizzes, and attendance, able to miss 2 classes. Very nice professor and lectures are very rarely boring
I took SOC 125P with Dr. Bridges and it was one of my favorite classes I have taken at UCSB. We had 2 papers and weekly reading quizzes. The readings are doable and between 10-20 pages. Dr. Bridges is kind, funny, and more than willing to help. Take any classes he offers!
I'm taking Sociology of Privilege with Dr. Bridges. This is the best course. The lectures are really great. He makes a lot fo time for students. The assignments are interesting and he gives lots of guidance. Honestly, I'm learning more in this course than most classes I have been in in college so far. Love it.
