CollegeBaham was a great professor. I was a little worried because of the reviews on here but she was pretty organized and the class was very easy to navigate. You complete a lab and homework assignment each week and have 2 midterms and a final. I found that the exams did not take the entire time and were all mcq.
Very straightforward in terms of grading criteria. Lectures well on the intricacies of the psychology academic papers department.
Definitely one of the better stats classes I've had to take. It was much easier to understand than PSTAT5a... She appreciates people who pay attention in lecture! Need the textbook for homework but the assigned questions are fair and pretty easy. Lab isn't very difficult either
I'm surprised her reviews are bad. She is an understanding and sweet professor who wants you to succeed, and her lecture notes are well organized and make sense if you pay attention during class. But yes, she could explain the materials in a more straightforward way. Other than that, she's really a diligent professor.
Took 120L: Dr. Baham is nice enough but it was not good. Lectures are irrelevant to the research project that is the entire point of the class. Every week, there is an individual Eli review assignment, eli review peer review, in-lab group assignment and in-lab individual assignment. ELI assigned Thurs night due Fri night. TAs nice but unhelpful.
Dr. Baham is very sweet but her lecture style does not adequately prepare you for the exams. The homework and labs are graded harshly. I have studied alot for this class and put effort into the assignments; however, her lectures are rushed and do not connect to the material to the standard at which her exams are testing us.
