Baham is one of my favorite professors so far here. She's so passionate about what she's teaching, and she makes a lecture heavy class feel so exciting and interesting. Her exams are not difficult as long as you paid attention in class and reviewed each of the lecture slides (didn't need the book that much). Going to miss this course w/ her!

Dr. Baham was super sweet and you can tell she cares a lot about Dev Psy. I voluntarily went to every single lecture even though I didn't need to - learned a lot. There's weekly quizzes with unlimited attempts and a few reflection assignments where you relate the class material to a personal experience. No curveballs on exams - easy to study for.

Baham is a very kind professor. She doesn't make the tests too tricky but there is a lot of material that you need to study for the midterm and final.

Baham is so nice, I really liked coming to lectures. You can tell how passionate she is about psychology and her students. She wants you to understand the material and allows students to ask as many questions as they want. If you go to lecture, exams are fine especially if you review the material. She deeply cares and you can tell. :)

Professor Baham is so kind and wonderful. She is very clear about expectations and grading and open to feedback. She gives a lot of anecdotes and connections to the lectures showing she is very passionate about developmental psychology. The tests are super easy if you go to class and listen. 10/10 would recommend.

For starters, Dr. Baham is an extremely nice person who cares deeply about her students' success and the material she teaches. That said, I only did well in this class because a lot of what I do outside of school involves applied statistics, but I can see why her lecture style can be really confusing at times if you're not personally interested.

Dr. Baham grew on me. She's accessible outside of class and genuinely wants you to do well, even if she didn't know how best to teach. Receptive to feedback. If you self-learn alongside attending class and take advantage by asking questions and going to OH, you can do well without already having a foundation in stats.

Honestly Baham was not as bad as people are saying on here. Her lectures ultimately made sense, the only thing is that she really rushes the lectures towards the end. Tests are super easy as long as you know what you're doing. Also homework/labs were literally not graded that hard, you seriously just had to do what was asked.

Homework is 40% of your grade and they grade it pretty harshly. I got As on both the midterms but they are only 15% each. Due to my hw grade I still need a good score on the final (20% of our grade) to achieve an A in the class. She also rushes through lectures but overall a nice teacher just poor class structure.

Melinda is a very sweet professor and really tries her best. However her lecture style is very difficult to grasp onto and in the end most of what she talks about in lecture does not relate to the homework assignments or labs in terms of how to complete them. This class ended up becoming self study.

Really good professor, super nice. Pretty hard exams but if you do the homework and go to lecture you should be alright.
