Collegebest 3b professor. hw was difficult sometimes but you have unlimited attempts and his tests were exactly like the practice + easier than the hw problems. he also lets you make a cheat sheet for every exam. the lectures were pretty boring but he does practice problems which are helpful. also an overall laidback and funny guy.
Awesome Prof. Very rare to see such clear cut grading criteria - be ready for no curve, though IMO not needed as long as effort is put in. No surprises on exams; amazing, READABLE, AND UNDERSTANDABLE lecture notes, light homework. Also overall great guy, loves chatting in office hours about non-class topics in data science/ math.
Okay ignore my grade I lowkey fumbled the easiest final ever but super thorough prof!! Course was great and I actually learned and the 2 quizzes, midterm, and final aren't bad at all (I just made silly mistakes 💔)
You NEED to take Yan for 3B. Attendance isn't mandatory and his quizzes, midterms, finals are incredibly easy and he basically tells you everything that will be on it the lecture before. Frequently asks for questions and goes sooo slow. Much easier than other 3B profs and an easy A if you took AP Calc or any math class before tbh. THANK YOU YAN
very easy tests
(For Math 8) Very awesome professor! Was passionate about the subject and was a great professor overall. He really made me intrigued with proofs and whatnot, helping lay down the foundations to mathematical proofs and such. Would definitely take him again. 35% midterms, 35% homework, 30% final.
