Grade = two in-person essays (20% + 30%), participation (10%), and an in-person final (40%). Very knowledgeable & loves student-led discussions, but WAY overassigns readings that are often dense (e.g. the reproductive rights unit lasted two weeks and she wanted us to read 300+ pages incl. Roe v. Wade and Dobbs legal cases). Beware if you take her.

She definitely was passionate about what she was teaching and going to lecture definitetly helps. This class's midterm and final were writing based and grading was definitely kind of tough. Overall a decent class though.

PHIL4 . Mason E J 4 Months Ago

She's amazing!! The class is really reading heavy but if you're interested in philosophy take it. The grade is only based on exams and section participation so you definitely have to study and come to lecture. She's really engaging and very charismatic overall, would definitely recommend.
