CollegeI'm so tired.
i personally loved this class and love prof gilbert
I have taken him twice now and really appreciate the way he gives space and directions for students to pursue their interests. He's always helpful and if I have questions about a comment (they can get complicated) he clears it up. Sometimes I wished his class was a little more organized, but he also adapts and works individually with students.
This is a tough class if you don't love reading. But the ideas are neat. he gives several opportunites for revision and knows how to help you improve.
The assignments and texts were unique. He's low-key and explains things really well. I improved my writing a lot.
He reads your work carefully and shows you how to ask deeper questions. Not too difficult and actually teaches you to write with lots of comments and how do basic research. Great if you want to choose and learn about a topic involving labor politics and environment and some other stuff.
