If you want an easy A take this class. Overall he's a chill dude. His lectures are extremely unorganized, and bc of that they are extremely boring. He is also openly communist so I mean... also, you could turn in just about anything and still get an A, like i genuinely think its impossible to not pass.

Dr. Larimore-Hall has been my favorite lecturer thus far at UCSB. This class was easy. Lots of reading (nothing you can't get summarized, tho). A few short papers and two longer papers, which he guides you through. He is a bit unorganized, but he owns up to his mistakes. Provides all materials and is very knowledgeable. Gives extensions no problem.

Doesn't use lecture slides but his lectures are not very structured either. Midterm + final are readings heavy. Lenient with extensions, a bit disorganized, and was passionate about course material. Seemed to be an easy grader, so you just have to pick your battles w/ his teaching style.

Relatively easy class. He doesn't really lead the class; instead, he lets the students take the lead. Provides vague details that force you to use your creativity. If you prefer a specific structure, he is not the professor for you. The seminar capstone was a group project among the entire 16-person class. He is a nice guy. Be prepared to read tho
