CollegeDon't take if you can avoid-- save yourself the hastle. One of the toughest, most passive aggressive professors I have taken. Truly countless hours spent on the projects with little guidance or patience
Similar sentiment to some other reviews on here. Spent $140 on supplies and used probably $25 of it. His weekly projects aren't necessarily difficult, but INCREDIBLY time consuming. I wouldn't say his lectures are boring, but they definitely feel long.
I spent over $160 on art supplies for this class that he said were required and I didn't even end up using most of them. We had projects every week, some of them requiring you to go to the classroom to use the materials there. He always took points off of projects for no reason. The lectures are extremely long, boring, and hard to pay attention to.
If you're just taking this for the units- don't, definitely one of my biggest mistakes ever. So many necessary materials, so many hours of work poured into the projects, so many tears shed over it.
Lots of homework. Really a TOUGH grader!!! Not clear about some grading criteria so really don't know why some points were taken off. There are weekly quizzes and they are based on really detailed stuff from the two-hours lecture.
His lectures are SOOOO BORING!! But he quizzes on minor details! There are 30+ assignments in 10 weeks! Time commitment++. A HARSH GRADER! You have no clue why he takes your points. He will praise your idea but then give a low grade. Require many art materials, but you will not use most of them.
