CollegeOffice was kind of messy. As a person, kind of strange.
Took Prof Visell's class during the pandemic and he transitioned to online classes perfectly and made the projects interesting and easy to collaborate on. His lectures get heavy on theory and formulas but the projects given and feedback we got made the class very interesting and helped me learn a lot about audio processing. Would def take again!
Do not take a class with this guy. His lectures are mostly useless and he knows it, so he makes attendance mandatory by having you write matlab code every class. The projects are well beyond the scope of an intro class. He says you should do "extensive outside research" to be successful on the projects, but isn't it his job to prepare us for them?
