CollegeClass was honestly quite boring. Mandatory iClicker. Midterm + final + a debate group project that was not graded harshly at all. Very chill dude, but the material was really boring if you have ever taken any other bio or envs classes.
Doug is truly a great professor. He makes it clear that he cares about our digestion of material, and makes lecture very interesting. There's a lot of storytime during lectures, so attending is crucial to understanding the concepts thoroughly!
I really enjoyed Professor McCauley's lectures. He's INSANELY educated and well spoken on these topics. Very kind human, he brought in guest speakers which was super cool. He doesn't curve but it's not impossible to get an A. I got a B even though I missed a few iclicker quizzes and i got a 70% on both exams (they're mc). Highly highly recommend
Doug is super knowledgable and has so many cool experiences in the conservation and ecology fields - he's really inspiring. Love him!
