CollegeThree online tests, nearly 16 pages of free-response questions. By the end, the professor said he was going to make all of next year's tests in person due to cheating. Lots of homework and assignments. For an "easy bio UD," I spent way more time and effort than I would've liked.
Lectures are very engaging and the professor is passionate & caring. Take-home exams, but future classes will be in-person exams. Overall, great professor!
she was a pretty good teacher and was able to explain things clearly. class material in itself wasn't super difficult and her portion was definitely more math heavy, but not unreasonable. tests were pretty practical in measuring how you could apply knowledge instead of memorization of terms and she was very sweet :-)
Professor is very kind and passionate about the topic. 3 take home midterms, no final (one of the midterms is during finals week). Midterms were not easy, but doable. Students caught for cheating during midterms, I'd highly advise against that, not worth tanking your grade. Attendance mandatory. Section also mandatory. Would take again.
She was nice and I went in for help a lot, but I don't think that she really compensates for students who don't have a really strong background already with modeling and calculus. Her review sessions were incredibly unuseful and so were the study guides. Tests were hard- basically memorize the lecture notes. Partial credit is nice.
For a non-math person, this class is pretty difficult, but Dr. Moeller really wants everyone to do well, and she's so sweet and helpful. The exams were difficult, but there's a lot of partial credit given, so just try your best. Labs are a lot, but the expectations are clear. Overall, do your best and ask for help, and you're going to be okay.
