CollegeGrading based on prelab and lab only. No exams at all which was a huge plus. Lectures are engaging despite how hard the concepts were. Made sure we understood it with the labs. Labs were every week in groups as well.
Lectures are succinct and helpful in understanding what's going on at the high level. I refer back to his slides once in a while to refresh my memory on RLC and other topics.
Had no homework so we could focus on designing our projects and giving biweekly presentations. This is class is as hard or easy as you want to make it depending on the project you pick, but will definitely be time consuming either way. I learned so much without the unnecessary stress of exams and weekly homework. This is how school should be!
Galan is great! Such a nice guy and very good at explaining the material. He also grades nicely on labs, homework, and exams. He really wants us to focus on the learning and less on the grade since this class is so fun and hands on!
