CHE110B . Han G 4 Years Ago

professor Han is very kind and passionate to teach. She does all she can to help students understand the material (which is complex indeed), and provided us with very well-written slides. The homework did take a long time to finish however you do them in groups which is helpful.

CHEM112A . Han G 5 Years Ago

Lectures were all over the place, sometimes with errors. Grading is very slow.

CHE110B . Han G 6 Years Ago

Ah, she was confusing, but I would blame that on the class itself. She is a nice lady, and she is trying her best.

CHE110B . Han G 6 Years Ago

She is a nice person, not a particularly tough grader, but be prepared to learn next to nothing about actual CHE thermo. The hws are 90% coding in MATLAB, for obvious reasons does not teach one much about thermo but instead about coding. She claims we will re-use the code in future courses,I'd rather learn thermo, deal with coding when it comes.

CHE110B . Han G 7 Years Ago

Her lectures were not very helpful, and learning from the book is almost better. She tries really hard to make us understand but it can be frustrating and boring. I thought the subject matter was a little harder than 110A, and there was a lot of tedious coding involved in the homeworks (which took a long time). Start them early

CHEM154A . Han G 8 Years Ago

Dr Han is one of the greatest professors In the chemistry department. She doesnt shy away from difficult material but shes willing to spend the time to explain if you are. Even with a very busy schedule she makes it happen for her students, and truly cares about their well being and interests. Never done a RMF post but she deserves a way better!!
