CollegeThe class is fine - what you would expect for chem. Mercy is very hot and cold (lowk rude sometimes) but it def pushes you to work hard. Its clear she wants everyone to be sucessful - painful in the moment but prepared me very well for chem 1a. If she was a little bit nicer the class would have been more enjoyable.
She's very interesting and funny, which I appreciated. Her tests are similar to the lectures and I think they are fair. Honestly, my only issue is that she tended to fear-monger her students which was annoying. Overall I recommend, this class helped me a lot for 1A.
she was alright but it got difficult towards the end of the quarter :/
Very strict regarding quizzes, dry humor, and pop quizzes if you don't ask questions. Fun accent, a lot of personality, and fun shirts. 3 quizzes, 3 midterms, 1 final.
She made me hate chem and this is supposed to be a pre class. She made me want to jump off the cliff no joke.
this class prepared me a lot for chem1A, however.......prof anyika was highkey mean and i feel like the concepts taught in lectures weren't explained the best they could've been. i definitely learned the majority of the content on my own, from the textbooks. she seems really smart but can be extremely discouraging, unfortunately.
