CollegeThis was a very tough class for me and I needed this for my major. I found Professor Rathore to be an inspirational teacher who made the material very interesting and accessible. I wish all my profs were like him. :)
Honestly the sweetest and most caring professor I have had at UCSB. He is super helpful in office hours and his grading is super lenient. Material is hard but he teaches it very well.
Professor Rathore is an excellent instructor! His lectures are super clear and well-organized. He is very accessible outside of class and genuinely cares about his students' success. He's also incredibly patient and willing to explain things multiple times if needed. Highly recommend taking Math 8 with him!
Rathore is a great professor, went to his office hours many times and he was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend taking him for Math 8. Homework is very helpful, provides a ton of resources to study for Midterms/Final, which were both extremely fair. Learned a lot from this class, take this professor!
Professor Rathore is one of those rare educators whose profound knowledge inspires and enlightens students, even those who may lack the motivation to study. Amidst the challenges of UCSB's math department, often critiqued for its suboptimal teaching methods, Professor Rathore stands out as a beacon of excellence and dedication to pedagogy.
Goat. Explains concepts very well and is very lenient on homework deadlines, quizzes were lowkey annoying, but the lowest 2 get dropped. Midterm and final were really easy. Easy class as long as you stay up to date. Only con is his accent, which you get used to after a couple of lectures.
