RATHORE J
Lecture and section attendance not mandatory but both super helpful. Only like one homework a week. Class is only graded on homework, 2 midterms, and the final. He was really good at explaining stuff in lecture so not much studying is needed outside of lecture and section. He's also really helpful during office hours.
Be careful with grading. The course content itself is not impossible, but the grading is very strict and often focuses on small technical details. Homework solutions are not very helpful for understanding expectations. There are several quizzes (including T/F questions), and none of the lowest scores are dropped, which adds pressure.
Run! TA tough grader, graded on small little things. The answer of the homework is not helpful at all. Three quizzes with TF questions and none of the lowest got dropped. No practice for the midterm and final. Although the test look the same, your score will be reduced unexpectedly by the tough TA. Be careful with his TA JK.

Not as much homework as other similar UD math courses and he really tried to make sure people understood the material/proofs during lecture. Posted high quality LaTeX notes he typed up himself on Canvas which reviewed everything covered during lectures. Exams were straightforward and easy. An outstanding prof in the math dept.
Such a great prof!! One of my fav professors in the department. Does a good job lecturing and genuinely cares abt his students. Your grade is distributed among several categories (homework, section quizzes, and exams), which is really helpful. Exams were very fair.
Goat. Explains concepts very well and is very lenient on homework deadlines, quizzes were lowkey annoying, but the lowest 2 get dropped. Midterm and final were really easy. Easy class as long as you stay up to date. Only con is his accent, which you get used to after a couple of lectures.
Only cons r bit of an accent and sometimes he's off track but thats kinda cute in a way. Went to all his lectures and never looked at his notes (which r supposedly pretty good) and finished with an A. 5 quizzes 2 get dropped and a final and a midterm that were easy. Would def take him again.
Caring and Nice Professor. Lecture notes are very clear.
Jitendra's class has a clear grading criteria. His lectures and notes are also fairly decent. However, in my class we didn't cover Laplace transforms. It is unclear how well he has prepared me at this point. Overall, he's a fair balance between rigor, content, and accessibility. A fairly decent professor overall.
I honestly slacked off when I took 4B and ended up with a 71.9%, and I begged for a roundup to 72 to meet my prereq, to which he said no. The material is easy, but sometimes the quiz material caught me off guard. Take it, but please lock in (since I didn't) and keep in mind that he won't round up for you.
Has a heavy accent which can be difficult to understand at times. Can be disorganized during lectures. Lectures are ok but sometimes go over things that aren't very relevant to the course. Quizzes in section were difficult but midterm and final were easy. As long as you study a lot on your own you'll be fine.
