really interesting topics brought up in class, and she's pretty understanding. But she still kind of expected a lot from us considering we're in the middle of a pandemic. she also forced us to buy her expensive book that she wrote, which never sits right with me...

She is such a good professor, always available outside the class. She will give you feedback by email as soon as possible! I wish i can take her class again!

Absolutely wonderful professor, probably the best Ive ever had. The perfect balance of a wonderful, kind person and an absolutely amazing instructor. Lectures are fascinating, she brings in many interesting case studies and outside speakers, and shes very modest about it but her research is AMAZING. 11/10!!

Dr. Maldonado is really well-organized and structured her class like an ideal college course. There was one big group project, a few in class readings (I didnt read and did fine), one assignment, and a final paper. I took the course over summer, and I only really had to work hard on the final paper. Attendance is taken for credit, but easy points!

Best teacher I have ever had. Does a great job of making the material applicable to real life, and willing to adapt material to cover current events. Super approachable and willing to clarify topics and homework questions. Some reading is discussed in class, but only few graded things. Final essay on topic you choose due usually during dead week.
