This course for first-year Pre-Bio majors supplements MATH 2A, MATH 3A, andMATH 34A. Weekly course discussions apply calculus concepts to biological models of topics such as metabolism, population growth, and disease dynamics. Students are taught how to code and evaluate mathematical models and introduced to research in mathematical ecology and evolution.
