Asian American Studies should reach far beyond academia. How do we make it more accessible? In this course, we will make open educational resources (OER) about Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for high school, college and lifelong learners. As Ethnic Studies courses become integrated into K-12 education, we need to ensure that there are public educational resources. In this course, we will build on and deepen our knowledge about Asian American Studies to collectively create Asian American Studies OER projects.

Prerequisites: A prior Upper Division course in Asian American Studies.
