CollegeLittle guidance was given on assignments, and lectures were unnecessarily overcomplicated and confusing. Prof Nihn is passionate and kind, and I'd highly recommend going to her office hours. However, I often felt like she lacked the ability to explain things in a straightforward way, especially in class. Overall would not recommend for a GE.
Prof Ninh is amazing, caring, knowledgeable :) Every reading was incredible, powerful... I'm an Asian-American woman, this class meant everything to me! But really anyone would benefit from taking this class. She will give you a good grade if you show that you care!! Because she really just cares about teaching us well not just about grades.
Professor Ninh is amazing!!! Took upper div ASAM classes this quarter for the first time after officialising my double major in ASAM, and professor ninh was an absolute sweetheart!!! She is super super passionate about everything and was lenient about deadlines/revising. would def take her classes again!!
I was originally intimidated by Prof Ninh but after getting into the class, that all went away. Super fun to talk to in office hours and has super lenient policies - soft deadlines, unlimited revisions that she can help you with and gives endless support. She grades a bit tough, but she and the class are so amazing! Would recommend ANYONE take her!
Professor Ninh is AMAZING. She cares so much for her students and really tries to help as much as possible. I started with a C on the first paper, and then went to office hours every Monday and ended with a B+ due to her help. You really have to understand the material to get a good grade.
She is a really good teacher but sometime class is boring. I recommended to read the 4 assigned books becase the midterm and final will be a comparison between two books for the midterm and final. Go to Office hours really helpful. Overall is good!
