This class covers a lot of images and material, but if you go to class and do the readings, you will be prepared for the exams/paper. She is fair in her grading, and is very responsive in email and office hours for helping and understanding assignments and material.

Paul is a great Professor. Very knowledgeable and makes lectures interesting. I am not an art history major but I really enjoyed this class. Midterm, 5-6 page paper, Final.

If you plan to go to italy, then you should take this class. Dr. Paul is clear, her lectures are alright, she asks a lot of questions about the reading during class and on the test. Overall i ended up making like 120 note cards 60 for midterm and 60 for final. If you try then you will do fine

ARTHI6B . Paul C 2 Months Ago

If you enjoy Renaissance/Baroque art, then this is a class for you, if not, find a different Art GE. 6B with Paul is a harder class than other ARTHI courses I have taken, even as an Art History major. Mandatory attendance and I felt that it was hard to know how to succeed and do well on essays and blue-book tests. If you're taking for a GE, don't.
