Xicana(x) Visual Traditions . CH ST 128
Introduces students to the development of art as a social practice specifically in the MeXicana[x], Latina[x], and Indigenous communities. Students will study the oral/visual traditions, art forms, and costumbres that are still in practice today in the transnational communities surrounding us.
Prerequisites: Upper-division standing.

Hands down one of the best professors i've taken at UCSB! She was very sweet and accomodating and made sure every student understood the material. The projects all had meaning behind them. She truly does care about her students! If you can, please take her class!
