CollegeProfessor Pandey currently is my favorite professor at ucsb. He combines his humor in class well and his in class labs helps to understand the poltical world. Graded on in class labs and discussion board and quizzes each week. very easy if you read chapter per week. Final Project at the end that is not difficult if you have willing group mates.
This is one of my favorite COMM classes I've taken at UCSB! Content was really interesting and relevant, and Prof Pandey was super engaging during lectures. The group project was structured well in my opinion and he also gives out A+s. Super nice and encourages students to come to office hours. Would totally take again!
i took her small group communication class expecting it to be more interactive and focused on group activities. she is a nice professor, but a lot of the class time is spent in long lectures or tangents, which made the class feel less engaging and a bit misleading based on the course title. it felt more like lectures with brief group meetings.
An excellent professor. Class is lecture heavy and proof heavy, the practice exams give a good idea of what to study. She was able to explain complicated topics in a way that made intuitive sense.
Maybe she worked for other people but I found her lectures very difficult to stay focused on and her materials outside of class were completely insufficient to help me if I missed something from the lecture
She's an amazing lecturer, but idk if I'm just a little slow or the tests were really hard. No cheat sheet for the exams, and you have to understand all the concepts and memorize long proofs. You likely won't fail as long as you show up to lectures and take the pop quizzes. They act as a buffer if you do badly on the exams. This class is doable.
