Collegeliterally the coolest dude!!! take his class.
Great lectures and assignments are manageable if you go to lecture and skim the readings. Quick responder to emails and gives good feedback. Very knowledgeable, I highly recommend! Unfortunately everything was graded by the TA so I can't say much about his grading style, but I ended up doing well anyway. Thanks Prof. Thaler!
TAKE HIS CLASS!! i had prof thaler for global 120 & 124 and he's AMAZING!! super understanding about personal situations and easy for you to reach if you ever have a question about content or the course itself outside of class. class mainly based off 1 MCQ midterm, a paper, and a super fun, open-ended final project. interesting course material
Prof Thaler is a great guy. Very clear on what he expects, but it's not too much. His lectures are great and easy to understand. Attendance isn't mandatory at lecture, but it is at section.
Thaler gives awesome lectures. Clear, consistent, understandable, and often keeps them to just an hour long. Only a few main assignments to be graded on which we were well prepared for.
One of the best professors I've had! He is so nice and his lectures are so straightforward, easy to understand, and the way he presents them makes the topic very interesting! We had two short papers, a midterm, and a final which were all very easy as long you knew the main points from the powerpoints (which he uploads). I hope to take him again!
