Justin is a cool/nice guy, but he made Math 3B much harder than it has to be. It's incredibly difficult to know what's on quizzes/midterm/final so basically you study random things and it's a guessing game. The material itself is not hard but Kelz made it very confusing and used hard to understand methods. I've never studied so hard and got a C.

-Had it as an 8AM & missed several lectures, but he does post them before midterm & final which is VERY USEFUL. -Tends to do very tough problems in lectures, test & quiz questions easier. -Grading scale is very helpful and curved. -Textbook not useful. -Friend skipped several lectures, went to every CLAS--> 100% on midterm and strong A in class.

he's a cool dude, but honestly nothing made sense. the lectures, the homework, the section quizzes, and the midterm/final exams DO NOT CORRELATE so I have no clue what to study ever. I've never struggled to understand mathematical information more in my life, and this is coming from someone who got a 35 on the math section of the act. good luck.

He is a really dorky and cool guy. I took his 8am Integral Calculus class and he found ways to keep it interesting enough to keep us awake. As long as you do the hw and pay attention the class is pretty straightforward. The material is what you'd expect. His grading scale doesn't punish early mistakes and provides ways to salvage a bad grad

Did not like teaching style and struggled throughout the whole class. The material should have been easier to learn.

Uses a power point to teach math, makes mistakes on the power points, shows only hard examples, doesn't make a lot of sense, and you never know what the quizzes will be on.

He goes deep while staying accessible and relatable. Incredibly well organized lectures. A gem!

Justin is the real MVP. He wants you to succeed in class and is incredibly helpful. If you get him as a TA you will be good to go.
