Very helpful and straight forward. Class is designed for you to learn and not trick you. I highly recommend him as a professor

Good TA, pretty helpful and clear.

I took MATH 3C with this professor, and I would have to say that he was my favorite math teacher here at UCSB. Class was not mandatory, but I would recommend going. He was really easy to understand and could effectively convey the concepts to the class. The tests were also completely reasonable and there were no questions that were impossible.

Good but don't really remember much, too many other subjects have been memorized and forgotten since then

He was always very willing to help. His tests were funny and interesting and so were his lectures.

Matt was a great help for this course. Basically if you went to his sections and took advantage of office hours when needed, you did well. He reviewed the material at the level you needed for exams.

Appreciated that he tried his best to clarify what the visiting professor was trying to say. Good teacher assistant

Great TA! Very helpful and takes hints from students on which ways they learn better.

I had him as a TA for Math 3C which dealt with Linear Algebra. He was student oriented, in that what he covered in section was consistent with the material we had to know and was always open to answering questions. He would answer the questions in a manner that suited the student such that we would understand the topic clearly and such.

Such courage in teaching the maths.

Good over all

Helpful t.a that went over all the practice tests in Econ. He tried to explain higher level theories for the students that wanted extra insight. If you are interested in the major, then he is a great teacher. The only thing is that the section felt really slow. Overall, good T.A and helpful.

Overall awesome TA! He had extra handouts with helpful material that other TAs for the same course did not make or give to their students. He stayed after class for as long as needed to answer and explain questions and concepts and was clear in his explanations. He was also very approachable and a great guy

Tests were straight forward. Nothing too tricky. Teacher explained things with great clarity explaining them in a way anyone could understand

Matt was SUPER flexible and was truly there for the students. SUPER NICE. Teaching-wise, he was straight to the point, gave us the necessary materials to do well on the quiz. Matt gave us supplemental material to prepare us for the final. He let me take quizzes in other sections, so he was REALLY nice and forgiving.

Great prof. lighthearted and does his best to keep the class interesting. Tests are straightforward and he is very helpful
