I love this guy. He's an excellent teacher, and he really cares about his students. When possible, he grades the work. He is respectful and democratic. He does not propagandize, unlike most PS professors. I think highly of him as a person and a teacher. Take him if you can. I got an A. Maybe you can too. However, he is not easy. Fair? Yes.

Incredible man, very interesting. Goes onto all different topics, so I suppose having at least a small working knowledge beforehand helps you in the class. Some people didn't like Robinson's lectures because he jumped around too much & a lot of reading. Overall, though, great class and professor.

no need to go to lecture, he just rambles. 3 things matter in the class. 2 papers and a 10 page research paper. none of them have the slightest bit to do with what he says in lecture. taught it like a graduate course. i did not enjoy the class.

Very interesting, hip, Marxist/Blk studies professor who picks your brain, shows too many movies, and has too many groupies flocking up to him after class. Hot for an older guy especially when he wears hit straw hat and smokes his pipe!
