easy class. don't really do anything. you can rewrite things. recommend taking him for the writ 109hp if you are a bio major instead of the other prof who teaches this course. willing to help you a lot.
He is AMAZING! He will do anything to see you succeed. He's awesome. Definitely take him if you can!

There are not enough good words out there that will do justice to how incredibly awesome Doug is. It was a joy to go to class everyday and the stuff he teachs will help me in my future no matter what I end up doing. So helpful and so kind, make it a point to meet with him in office hours as much as you can to either seek help or just chat.

great writing 1e,2e,50e teacher... one of my favorite teachers at ucsb... as u can tell i stuck with him throughout my whole freshman year... pretty easy, allows rewrites etc n just a great person overall
