Rickels is the easiest teacher i've ever had! I didnt attend one class except for midterm and final, got the notes from a friend and copied the notes word for word on both the midterm and final. I took 4 courses with this guy, and got a solid A in all 4 classes! if you are looking for a class to boost your GPA, this is the class for you! you dont learn anything at all, but its the easiest A ever....possibly easier than 7th grade classes.

I was not surprised by the ease I received an A in this course, but I'm shocked it counted as a "Literature in Translation" class considering the only thing German we read was a Frued essay. His honors section was furthermore a waste of my time and his interpretation of my dreams left much to be desired. Rickels is a complete hack and if you look closely at some of his essays he quotes his own articles to substantiate his illogical arguments-a sort of intelectual masturbation for his ego and empty

No matter what you take Rickels to be, he is the most amazing professor!. All of his theories and formulas seem to hold true to all the aspcts mass media culture in our society. These classes force us to take a look inward at ourselves in the sense that

This guy is definitely weird. I only found it intriguing to see what 'theories' he'd make up to explain why certain things were the way they were in movies/comics like Batman, XMen, 007, etc. You watch tones of movies. got a B for C effort

oh man - one of the oddest classes i've ever taken - lectures were all over the place his dog was about the only thing i paid attention to - BUT i did all the reading -which was immense - and pulled an A. all i can say is do all the reading even if it seems impossible.

Rickels is one of the most interesting profs. around, you will not be bored. Love his use of film clips and different theories. Vamp. was a fave. class of many of us!

unbelieveably the easiest class ive ever taken...a kindergardner could pass this class...never go to class and just rewrite your notes on the midterm and final and you will get a B at the lowest....

never touch his dog or else! the superhuman tendencies will allow for the over-human and the breast, the good breast will over see niches approach. thank you...

I don't know how this class packs in so many kids. The course objectives are very unclear and half the time you don't know what you are supposed to be learning. Tests aren't hard and the paper is "Write 1800 words. Done."
