Awesome, take any class with Mack, you can't go wrong. Explains material well when you ask, is approachable, and will help you get through the course. Clear lectures as well I felt. Tests are reasonalbe if you study his notes and practice tests.
He's honestly not that bad of a teacher and he's kind of cute. If you just read from your book and understand everything that the book teaches, you will do absolutly fine. I have never taken stats before and i'll do is study out of the book and occassionally go to lecture and it worked
This class is really easy. Just attend section and you should be fine. No final, just 4 exams which are 20% of your grade each, and section is 20%. Plus, he gives practice exams that are identical to the actual exams, so you can't go wrong.
he is not a good teacher. lectures are boring and useless. tests start off easy and end insanely difficult. my section averaged c's. Cross your fingers for good ta, they can make or break you. DEF sign up for CLAS, that saved my life, and the guys who teaches it is approachable and nice. dont take this class unless you absolutely have to

Insanely boring, but what can you expect from a Stat Class. He isn't a bad teacher, but he's nothing special; uses power point slides and an overhead when he needs to clarify. Either go to lecture OR read the book, and you'll pass the exams. No final, 4 exams. 2 sections, but they're easy and you can always just learn the material there.
He's one of the worst profs I've ever had. He is not that great of a lecturer. Don't even try going to his office hours because he is really bad at explaining things. I would recommend going to the TA's office hours instead. He's a really nice guy, and tests aren't too bad, but he's a really bad teacher.
Avoid this professor if your intention is to actually learn something or get a decent grade. He's very antisocial and boring. I don't think he's very familiar with the material in STAT 120A.
Terrible professor. He is possibly one of the most boring people I have ever met and has no social skills what so ever. I know people who didnt even go to the final because they knew they were going to fail regardless since the class was so difficult. He makes things way more complicated than they ever should be. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH SOMEONE ELSE!
Do not even think of taking PSTAT 120A with that loser. He's the most useless teacher ever. His main problem is that he's not a Statistics teacher, but Math. My recommendation would be to take the course w/ any another teacher but Galloway.
Worst professor ever. Seriously boring and doesn't even teach anything that the tests are on. Every person i know in the class failed. He's horrible and boring. Don't take this class.

Very Easy, never need to go to class. Just do the book homework a bunch and go to lab and section. 4 tests no final, every test was easy. Easy A if you practice and just do homework.
Okay, so heres the thing. He's really cool, helpful but yes he is monotonous. His lectures can get boring but what can you expect when learning statistics? 1st two tests are really easy, third is a lil more difficult, and am waiting on the fourth. I think I should have an A though, its not that hard .
going to lecture is pointless. read the book. most monotonous professor ever! kind of awkward. try to avoid at all costs. class in general started out easy but got a lot harder. most of the TAs are useless also. no hw, no final, no midterm. just 4 20% exams and 20% for disc&lab.

Most boring professor ever. Lectured from a pdf, that he constantly scrolled up and down through. Seriously, I've never met anyone with such a dull demeanor in my life.
