By far the worst professor at ucsb. Lectures are boring and he goes too fast. No one ever attended lecture so he gave extra cred to those who did. Failed half of the class, no exaggeration, out of spite. Material is hard to begin with, but Mack made it worse. Some people are not meant to teach, certainly NOT Mack.

Worst prof ever. Unclear, made it harder than necessary. He jsut wanted you to know he was smart and you were not. I took the class with another professor and got an A- with the same work put in. The second time I took the class, I didn't even recognize the material because it was presented in a useful way. Drop the class with Galloway.

The class was easy in CLAS (Binh is the BEST CLAS tutor ever). But it was horrible in class. Lecture was always empty, he never really explained anything clearly and he actually snuck in stuff not covered in class for the final.

If anyone important from the PSTAT department (Prof Wang, Prof Feldman, etc.) ever reads this, please listen to this honor student's plea: SEND GALLOWAY BACK TO FLORIDA (or whatever cesspool he was spawned from)! I've talked to other Statistics professors and my statistics TAs and they refuse to contradict me when I speak ill of him. UCSB's plague.

why are we paying for this total loser to "lecture" to an empty room 3 times a week? seriously WORST professor at UCSB. Incredibly unreceptive- took me weeks to correct a clerical error in my grade because he simply didn't want to have to deal with it - AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE
