God she is one of the worst teachers i have ever had. I don't understand these other comments. She is incredibly dumb and doesn't know what she is talking about. Even though i was very interested in the material she made me dread that class. Horrible teacher

Go to class, do your homework, and regurgitate whatever she says. It was an interesting class, and relevant in the field of art history.

While her notes are organized and her tests straight forward, she is overly demanding. plus, she talks to you like youre a complete idiot. i did well in her class and even still could not stand her and would never take another class with her. she doesnt get that her's is not the only class you're taking.

Great class, interesting material, and she spoke very clearly and insightfully. Would definitely recommend.

I can definitely see where the other people who rated her are coming from but it's really not as bad as they say. As long as you go to class it's pretty easy. There is little detail and date memorization, as long as you know the artists and what was special about them you are fine. I studied 2 hours for the final and got an A, go to class.

good interesting class. speaks clearly. easy to understand powerpoints.

Was very unlcear about what we needed to know for the midterm. I would not take a class with her again. loved my last art history class, but this one made me rethink my major.

This class should have been interesting, but she is a terrible lecturer and I fell asleep almost every time... 5 pg paper and essay/mc tests , wouldnt suggest

Lectures were very well organized, could follow along with the images from the website. Changed midterm grade to final grade if you scored higher, which helped a lot of students. Did a debate instead of writing a long paper, and assignments were 6 one page summaries of the reading. Very good professor, i would take any of her classes.

Her tests are almost completely based on the reading. The information was fun, but he tests are pretty hard. She was way too particular about things.

I think it was called women in dutch art. Anyway, she ****ing rocks. Anything she teaches. She is amazing, intellegent and nows her****!

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.... she is a witch! shes angry cuz she spent her career trying to find hidden meaning in dutch art that doesnt exist! she focuses on minute details.... you have to be psychic to do well on her tests! and dutch art is beautiful but boring content-wise... completely unreasonable

Great lectures, very clear presentation of subject matter. However, there is a lot of work involved in the class. HW assignments, class participation, group projects, lots of reading! I would recomend the class even though it was a tremendous amount of work.
