nice guy, project is unclear, but midterms and final are straightforward. make sure you study off old tests!
Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but not too hard. First half is way easier than the 2nd. Things like the project are worded weird. Just do the practice tests and extra credit.
the project is hard. worded in a confusing way. midterm is ok not bad but the final is harder
Do not take this class! It seems easy as you first are starting out but then the first midterm hits really hard. He has very very tricky questions of both of his tests (which together comprise your entire grade in the class) My three friends and I that usually get good grades, all received C's and below in this class. Don't take this as an elective
Nice guy, tough class; very reading-intensive. The material is actually easy enough to grasp on the surface (especially if you're into law), but he often likes to test you on the exceptions to and corollaries of the laws. Gives one midterm/final; mostly multiple choice, and a couple written questions. Beware...he often writes tricky MC questions.
Pretty easy class. Lectures (skippable) will put you to sleep, but that's tax for you. All he wants is for you to understand the main concepts and tax rules from the book. Midterm, project, and final are not hard, but tend to be worded in a confusing way. Just ask him for help. He's very nice.
He is a JD/CPA, partner in a downtown law firm. Good teacher, obviously knows his stuff. For better or worse he teaches straight out of the book so it won't kill you if you miss a day. The midterm is way easier than the final.
