the images are tough and come in extreme bulk. hard to study for midterm, and final( 1essay in test equals 80% of test). if you miss a class you miss approx 1/6 of the test. take good notes. not recommended to take if your just trying to take any arthi class.

Great teacher. THE one professor that I remember after 10 years. Great overall knowledge of design (especially cars). Is very helpful in OH. Helped me figure out my career (landscape architecture). Take him.

Armi is one of the most challenging teachers I have ever taken a class with. His tests are VERY difficult and images are SOOOOOOOOO abstract. You learn more than just memorizing; he is truly interested in teaching you how to learn and study. Although difficult, one of the best teachers at Santa Barbara in my opinion.

Knows his stuff and expects you to after his class. Don't try to BS your way through, it won't get you anywhere.

Armi is interesting. You have to take a lot of notes. Tests (2) are essays but he wants to help you in office hours. Drops the mid-term if you do better on the Final. Wants you to learn for your own benefit for travel in Europe, not for the grade or to adopt his doctrine. Laid back guy.
