Seems like a nice guy but can't teach! Concepts you go in knowing and come out confused by the end of lecture. Did all the review before some of his tests but still got thrown out ridiculously hard questions, try to take it with another professor or do CLAS!
This guy is abnormally intelligent, but he cannot teach at the level of the students. It is possible to survive this guy's class if you do the following: Go to CLAS, Do all of the review HW that he assigns before the midterms and finals, and feel as if youve mastered the material.
See all of the below. Everything I understood from his lectures are things I already learned in high school, everything else was incomprehensible. Assumes students know too much, awful midterms, doesn't speak english too good. Please avoid.
Lectures are totally pointless, off topic from homework and tests, midterm was horrible, hard to understand his english and does not teach anything at all. Assumes you know the steps and skips many of them. He is a baddddddddddd professor, avoid at all costs!!!
Really hard to understand and assumes that everyone knows the material already. His midterm was fine for me but some ppl struggled. It was 5 questions multiple choice basically if you did poorly your grade is completely ruined. Each midterm worth 20% of your grade. So each question was 4%
Holy crap. Ease of homework is deceiving. Homework has no inclination of what you need to know for the exams. Midterm had nothing to do with the homework assignments or lectures. Stay away from this jerk if possible.
Assumes that everyone is as smart as he is. Uninspiring, insane midterm forced me to drop the class. Thanks, jackass.

Grad students told me he teaches waaaay over the heads of his students, and I couldn't agree more! Assumes students can pick up difficult concepts with just one example and then moves right along. Do not take unless you have to!
