Class is not easy but you'll learn a lot. Textbook use is very low, just study the slides and take good notes and you will do find. Most importantly, try to switch to a good TA,cause a bad TA in this class can really screw you over (can't give names )

His voice is so monotone and I had trouble staying awake in his class. Overall, don't buy the textbook cause you never need it. He puts all powerpoint slides on website so that was helpful.

Don't buy the book, you won't use it. Tests are all from his lecture slides, though there were a couple of concepts on there I don't remember learning. It might've been cuz I fell asleep from his monotone voice. Very hard to pay attention unless you're sitting in the front. Also, didn't have good TA's this year, so that didn't help. Overall: okay.

Stills is a good teacher. His tests are all from his powerpoints so theres no need to buy a textbook. He doesn't curve the class which is the only hard part of the class. I recommend taking a class with him.

The material was really fun, 15% of our grade was a cartoon we had to draw after visiting the Natural History Museum! Extra credit was always available and the field trips were awesome! Really fun class. This class seemed to be super easy and I thought I knew all the material forwards and backwards, but I ended up with a B

Chris=cool but expects alot. Geog3A/B don't suffice for 167 in my opinion. I really enjoyed writing the final paper. Sara B is not fast paced enough and section was useless. Go to lecture and take solid notes. Exams=fair but you BETTER study. 2nd half of class easier than 1st. Seems like most people had a decent bio/eco background. I got a C.
