This is a graduate student who teaches and clearly wants to become a professor while having none of the qualities that make a good professor. He is unorganized, uncommunicative, and rude. I would highly recommend you avoid him.
Clearly needs to go into research in the field and not teach students. Unclear on his expectations in the class when constantly changing syllabus. Is unable to communicate his ideas without sounding condescending. Careless when it comes to grading. The only redeemable quality is his long drawn commentary on random topics.
If I could give this man a zero, I would. He never stays on track. He didn't even decide on whether we were going to have a final until a week before. He's extremely rude and passive-aggressive. Calls students out directly in class for the sole purpose of degrading them. Don't take this class unless you want to partake in a humiliation ritual.
Avoid at all costs.
Do not take this instructor! The positive reviews on here are crazy, with two saying "it was an honor" to be in his class; they definitely had me fooled. Tough grader with no constructive feedback, and was always condescending and belittling.
I really enjoyed this class. He's a great prof
class is very discussion-oriented, which is related to the curriculum we're studying. Not difficult if you keep up with work, pretty clear on the criteria, and communicative through class announcements.
This dude can't make up his mind about how he wants to run his class. He has changed the syllabus EVERY SINGLE WEEK since we started to the point where I've been keeping my own document of class updates because of the inconsistency . He's also passive aggressive and provides zero feedback. Nothing is clear and he's remarkably unprofessional
One of the most valuable aspects of the course was how it pushed us to grow both academically and personally. The professor encouraged us to think critically, consider different perspectives, and engage the world with empathy and awareness. It wasn't just about knowledge—it was about becoming more thoughtful and well-rounded.
This teacher/grad student told me to stop asking him questions after class and during class, and to only ask questions during office hours. He then cancelled scheduled office hours. He was unclear about what he wanted from assignments and then got upset when I did not fulfill his expectations.
Not good at teaching.
Most selfless prof I've EVER taken. He goes out of his way to meet up with students with extended office hours to truly help them grow. He said first day of class that he wants US to connect the dots, make up our own analysis, and he wants to hear our thoughts, so it's unfair to say he just simply didn't want to answer a question he was asked.
