Very straightforward in terms of grading criteria. Lectures well on the intricacies of the psychology academic papers department.

Dr. Baham structured the class in a rigid and straightforward path that after the earlier PSY courses will make sense and allow for an enriching experience for research basics. She's ready to work with you and kind, I found she gave really helpful feedback throughout. The final paper will be a slog for those who wait, along with the 2nd exam.

Good class, very easy to do well. Weekly quizzes based on lecture and 3 reflection one-pagers that were super simple. Midterm and final had repeat questions and were very straightforward. Only thing is the lecture slides seemed like word for word from the textbook so kind of boring and she kind of reads off them. But material is really interesting

She was very sweet and made clear rubrics with examples for each assignment. Can get an A if you have a simple topic you care about and follow rubrics. Two midterms, just make a quizlet of the info from the slides, learn from that and you'll be fine, readings aren't needed. Final paper seemed hard but the sections prepare you well for writing it.

PSY10B . Baham M E 5 Months Ago

I took Psy10A with Baham (course code wasn't an option) and I feel like I gained nothing from the lectures I attended. She seems sweet, but her lecture style is boring and repetitive, leaving you to have to teach yourself. Disappointing since research in psych is super interesting, but was rather mundane with her. The TAs carry the course.

PSY105 . Baham M E 5 Months Ago

This class was super chill. Lectures felt slow and she kind of rambled on a lot, but lecture slides were posted. Theres a lot of info, but the slides have everything you need to know. Tests were straight forward, quizzes were easy, I got docked points on my reflection assignments for stupid mistakes which was annoying but it didn't affect much.
