Lectures were clear. The material wasn't hard to grasp. Taught Mathematica along the way. Pretty good overall.

Had Ebrahim for the first quarter of fully online learning, and he did a great job transitioning to online. Lectures were always posted on time on Youtube (yay 1.5 speed). The videos were detailed and easy to understand. I like his sense of humor, wish I could've met him in person. He's super accessible via Nectir and will laugh-react to your memes

This quarter was different than he normally teaches, there were no midterms or final. One project broken into parts replaced that. Lectures were easy to follow along and homework was manageable as long as you took good notes and read the assigned reading. Extremely accessible and pretty much any hour of the day. I would definitely recommend him.

Best lecturer at UCSB. Used to take his 117 class as well. He explained concepts and theorems clearly in his class and is willing to help in office hours and on campus wire. He offers several grading options and takes the highest one. Will curve slightly as well. Will definitely take his lectures in the future.

Dr. Ebrahim is by far the best professor I ever had at UCSB. He is super clear with his concepts and is very open to students who need help or have an issue with grading. In terms of the classwork, daily quizzes were doable. We also had presentations and homework that were hard because they were conceptual but just ask him for help.

Disorganized lectures but Prof E was super accessible on Campus Wire if anybody had questions. Lots of extremely difficult homework that involves a lot of physics. Midterm and final were extremely easy versions of the homework. Definitely wants his students to succeed and offers grading schemes to help you. Solid professor!

He was very good at explaining topics and gave a very fair grading scheme. He's very accessible outside of class on is always keeping us up to date on class forums. He very clearly cares about the subject he's teaching and making sure his students understand.

He's very clear with his explanations and you can tell he's very passionate about teaching and the subject itself. Lectures were non mandatory but most of us showed up anyway because they were super helpful. He's always available outside of class and responds to messages quickly. Tests were fair but you do have to put in a lot of work to do well.

One of the most hard-working and skilled lecturers in mathematics at UCSB. Would take 100 more times.

Hands down the best professor I've had since coming to UCSB. He explains everything to detail, I rarely had any questions about lecture. He uses the platform CampusWire to communicate with his students and it's very helpful, he answers all your questions in less than 24 hours. As long as you do and understand the homework, tests will be easy!

Professor Ebrahim is by far the best math professor I've had at UCSB. He is caring towards his students' learning, and is very accessible outside of class using a website called campuswire which I loved. He does not make the material more complicated than it has to be, and delivers info very clearly. He builds tests off the HW, so they werent hard.
