I took Writing2 over summer at UCSB, and I could not have been more appreciative of the fact that I landed in Ms. Ballmes's class! She clearly cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She was a relatively fair grader. Overall a really nice person and a compassionate teacher.

Condescending attitude that makes it difficult to ask questions, difficult grader, and extremely unclear and wishy washy. AVOID.

This TA made this class much less enjoyable than it could have been. She micromanaged writing the paper, and gave everyone zeros if they didn't make it perfect.
