Not too bad of a lecturer, but occasionally couldnt answer questions from the reading because he has taught this class for years and doesnt read the book every time. Also the last few classes are just for your own knowledge, nothing included on the final, so theyre basically optional

Never expect to have such a great ethics class. Professor is so patient and nice. Although I got confused about simple questions, Prof always patiently answers in details. He is amazing! I don't care about what grade I get, I just enjoy this class.

Pretty boring but great material and super easy to pass his class. You can try a limited amount, show up to the classes, make notes and get an A- easy. He's also fairly funny when responding to student questions, in a sarcastic kind of way.

This professor is easily one of the most boring professors that I've ever had. However, if you use the skeleton notes online and fit your own notes to that, you will easily succeed, it is a guaranteed B+ just for showing up and taking notes. Incredibly boring, but he is clear and straightforward.

This guy was painfully boring. He was a caring prof, but the reason why it was hard was because it was truly hard to be engaged in the course. That being said, all the test short answer questions were given to you beforehand (24 Qs given, 7 will be on the test). However they were hard & specific. Took a lot of effort to study. NOT worth your time.

2 midterms and 1 final. Give the prompt questions 1 week in advance, No surprise on the test. Try hard, you can get an A. No try, you can easily pass the class with a C.

While dry at times, McMahon is an overall amazing teacher and I'm looking forward to taking Phil133 with him next fall. Clear, intelligent, and well spoken. Dude knows his stuff. Tests aren't difficult, he gives lecture outlines for each class (use those to supplement notes), go to class, you'll be golden. 1 reader, most readings online

He has to be the most boring professor I've ever listened to in my entire life. I'm not even exaggerating, he is SOO boring. It's painful going to lecture. BUT the material isn't that bad.

Key to passing is going to lecture. He clarifies theories extremely well and talks through the entire lecture. Pay attention and take notes on what he says and you're good. He even posts skeleton notes that you fill out in class. Very fair grader, and provides great feedback on exams. Take a class with him!

I really enjoyed this class! He is a bit dry with his teaching but he is very clear and is able to present the hard philosophical material in a comprehensible way. 2 mid terms and a take home final exam. You get the study guides in advance, which is where the exam questions are directly pulled from. Wish I could have take more classes with him.

Pretty straightforward, gives the questions for the midterms and finals beforehand. Isn't the most exciting phil professor but is really helpful in office hours.
