She is AWESOME!!!!!!

Shes @ WM now. Work seemed intimidating at first but now I LOVE the class. Journals keep you on track and are not that hard to do. We actually talk about very interesting things and she leads good discussions. Midterm straightforward and final is flexible. Can't slack off but if you're invested it's an AMAZING class. really learned new things

If you don't like to discuss reading, do not take this class. The class is basically focused on feminism and womens oppression in different religions. The articles in the reader sucked, but the novels were interesting! Be prepared to write reaction papers on a normal basis, and remember the authors and their purpose for the midterm/final!

Her teaching is extremely effective. The class is set up as a discussion. There is plenty of reading...but the books and reader are easy to follow. Study the handouts as well as concepts from each reading. Be prepared to concentrate on authors she selects for the essay portion of midterm. Don't forget the other authors(multiple choice)
