3 papers, 2 concert reports, and written midterm and final. if youre just trying to fulfill a requirement and get an easy a, i wouldnt recommend this class, but if your really interested in learning the subject and dont mind doing the work, then he is a great professor and youll learn alot! he's funny too. i really enjoyed the class.

Dr. Paul is by far the best professor I have had at UCSB! His class is not easy at all but he has fun with the subject and makes it very interesting. I learned so much and he introduced me to some amazing music! If youre willing to do the work than you should def. take this class!

Awful! SOOOOO BORING! Don't take MUS 15, he will make you write your midterm!
