The leather jacket and beard were deceiving for a soft spoken, couldnt hear half the crap he mumbled about in class kinda guy. if u were there the year he held the GLOBALIZATION CONFERENCE, it was probably the most useful source of information ever, but as for a prof... he is rather monotanous and full of himself

He was one of the nicest professor I've ever had. The 3 hour class is a pain, but all the exams are take-home. Edwin and Christine are great TAs.

Great professor and a very interesting class. I feel very enlightened after taking his class.

Exemplary teacher, and person. Take him. His classes matter. It was not a difficult class, but I learned more in it about how the world works than perhaps in any class. He is fair and democratic. He wants you to do well, in life, and as a student. I only wish there were more professors as dedicated as he.

Why does he not have HOT status? I learned a great deal in his class. By far one of the best profs. in his area, oh, and fine to look at as well

very interested in his subject, and extremely knowledgeable. 3 hours is a long time for one of his classes though, sometimes a struggle to stay awake. And you won't ever be able to leave early, he takes spot attendance in beg, mid, or end of class

This class was the most boring class I have ever taken. He just repeated everything he said in other 3 hour long classes...

Lectures drag on and can be somewhat repetitive. Overall class was very easy just to much pointless busy work.

His class is an experience you will not forget.

Intresting Class, pretty easy if u stay on track. Usually lectures half of the class and then has a video for the remaining half. Overall a good class and a great prof!

Ive learned more in a few days about Mexico and Globalization than what I have learned my whole life. WOW!! Great teacher

This 3 hour long class dragged a lot. I know he knew he was well versed on the subject, but had trouble conveying his points.
