Lots of reading but I learned so much in this class. Can be a bit dry but if you see beneath the surface and really listen you'll learn so much. Long class, 3 hour night class. Usually will let you out early if everyone is good.

The class was boring, the lectures were too long, and the grading was very unfair. He is not an understanding professor. I did not need to read all the books he assigned. Quizzes were not graded fairly, and were tricky. Questions were not specific.

Great Professor! His lectures may not be as clear or interesting as they could be but his films are awsome and you learn a lot from his class. The only thing I didn't like was that you get your TA based on your last name and one TA grades harder than the other.

Awesome professor, very knowledgable, interesting, and friendly. A lot of work, but worth it.

Very good class. Interesting lectures, great movies, good readings. Wish there were more professors like him, but be prepared because it is a lot of reading, but good.

Beware. Too much reading for this class. Felt like the amount of work for 3 classes. Overwhelming experience.

I really enjoyed this class. Robinson explained things very clearly and the material was very interesting and relevant to current global issues. The 3 hour classes flew by, especially cause there is a film for half of it.He also mentioned other parts of the world which I thought was imporant.I definitely recommend this class!!

Nice guy, but talks way too fast to take notes and has no power point notes. Probably an easy A, but hard to get much out of his lectures.

Welcome Nicaragua really bad spanish accent to Rico Suave... The leather jacket and beard were deceiving for a soft spoken, couldnt hear half the crap he mumbled about in class kinda guy. if u were there the year he held the GLOBALIZATION CONFERENCE, it was probably the most useful source of information ever, but as for a prof... he is rather monotanous and full of himself

He was one of the nicest professor I've ever had. The 3 hour class is a pain, but all the exams are take-home. Edwin and Christine are great TAs.

Exemplary teacher, and person. Take him. His classes matter. It was not a difficult class, but I learned more in it about how the world works than perhaps in any class. He is fair and democratic. He wants you to do well, in life, and as a student. I only wish there were more professors as dedicated as he.

very interested in his subject, and extremely knowledgeable. 3 hours is a long time for one of his classes though, sometimes a struggle to stay awake. And you won't ever be able to leave early, he takes spot attendance in beg, mid, or end of class

Lectures drag on and can be somewhat repetitive. Overall class was very easy just to much pointless busy work.

His class is an experience you will not forget.

Intresting Class, pretty easy if u stay on track. Usually lectures half of the class and then has a video for the remaining half. Overall a good class and a great prof!

Ive learned more in a few days about Mexico and Globalization than what I have learned my whole life. WOW!! Great teacher

This 3 hour long class dragged a lot. I know he knew he was well versed on the subject, but had trouble conveying his points.
